Sean Abbott was the pick among bowlers taking a five-wicket haul. Daniel Sams also took two wickets. Being last group match before crucial qualifiers, They will hope to put a good show. New South Wales are right at the bottom of points table with only one win. However, in last match they defeated Tasmania by 88 runs and will have momentum on their side. Jack Edwards was their star with bat scoring 68 runs at a strike rate near 140. Other batsmen also got starts but could not convert it into a good score.

Chris Green will lead the spin department. S Abbott and Daniel Sams will lead the pace attack of team along with Pat Cummins or Josh Hazlewood. Moises Henriques will support them.

Before the qualifiers, Talented spin all-rounder Andrew Gode can be given a chance over M Swepson. Chris Lynn, J Burns, M Bryant, S Hazlett, C Hemphrey and J Peirson will be the key with bat. Mark Steketee and M Swepson/A Gode will be the finisher for team.
